Kathmandu. It has been informed that the current sessions of both the National Assembly and the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament have ended
At the meeting of the National Assembly on Thursday, the Chairman of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina informed that the current session has ended. Likewise, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Devraj Ghimire, also informed that the session has ended.
The Chairman and Speaker announced that the current session will end at 12:00 tonight. In accordance with Article 93 of the Constitution of Nepal, sub-section 2, the Government of Nepal informed the House that the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament has ended on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal dated 16 October 2080.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at Singh Darbar on Thursday morning decided to end the current session from midnight today.
