Nepal lost with Oman

Kathmandu.  Nepal lost to Oman in the ICC T-20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. Nepal lost to Oman by 5 runs.

Nepal’s batsman Vivek Yadav, who came to find the target of 146 runs given by Oman, scored 39 runs to lead Nepal to victory, but it was not possible.

He hit 5 sixes in 24 balls. However, the bowler from Oman managed to keep the pressure from the start.

Karan KC was caught out after scoring 15 runs off the last ball. Avinash Bohra scored 1 run. For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane scored 2 runs, Sandeep Zora 12 runs, Gulshan Jha 3 runs, Kushal Malla 10 runs, Captain Rohit Paudel 12 runs, Sompal Kami 12 runs, Kushal Bhurtel 26 runs and Ashif Shaikh 5 runs.

Oman, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 145 runs losing 9 wickets in the stipulated over. Captain Zahin Maqsood scored the highest 32 runs for Oman. While Nishan Khushi scored 25 runs, opener Prateek Athawle was dismissed for 24 runs.

Nepal’s Karan KC took 3 wickets and Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami took two wickets each. Avinash Bohora and Gulsan Jha got one wicket each.
